She stood on her tippy toes to kiss him goodbye as she was going away for two months, she was leaving to go stay with her aunt as her mother was ill. He began to cry and was terrified to let go of her, just in case she was gone forever. She slipped a note into his pocket, got on the train and blew him a kiss goodbye. To them, this wasn't goodbye forever. To them, distance makes the heart grow fonder. For a month, he had no colour in his cheeks. He was moping around the house as if he had lost his toy in the world. He suddenly remembered the note she had slipped into his pocket and he read it out loud. It read; "November 20Th, i gave you a ring. That was a ring of promise and sanity to hold you together until i come back to you. It is my promise that i will forever love you, always think of you and never let a single moment we've had pass throughout my mind. I love you, i will miss you." It smelt like her, roses with a hint of lavender. It made him cry, he didn't want to spend a single moment without her in his arms. She didn't want to either, it was the only place where she belonged. After two months, she was back. She was the most beautiful creature he had ever laid his eyes on, she ran into his arms and he lifted her up. He kissed her passionately and held her by the waist. "I told you I'd be back for you, i love you."
- Love conquers distance, it conquers all.
